There is always a lot of focus on British vs American English. This worksheet can be used to show that there are big differences in language throughout the UK alone, with focus on a Scot's Dialect. In this activity the students have to try and 'translate' the 'Jeely Piece' (Jam Sandwich) song. A version of the song itself can be found on YouTube so that the students can sing along once the activity has been completed. Full answers are provided.
