This is a great activity to do with Elementary/Pre-intermediate students, but can also be adapted for higher levels. Watch The Wrong Trousers with your students and pause the film in four places, then give your students time to answer the questions in pairs. As a follow-up, students can write a summary of the film using the Past Simple and Past Continuous. Do pre-teach some of the vocab before you start.
