The 12 powerful words are words that show up repeatedly in the academic setting. This powerpoint is used as a review after the students have worked on the words a couple of times. One student sits in the front of the classroom and faces the rest of the students. The rest of the students then explain the word or say the definition. Once the student guesses the correct word another student takes their place.
