This is a great gap-fill exercise to practice asking and answering questions in Past Simple for elementary students. This activity can involve up to 8 people with the aim to collect all the information about a celebrity and guess who he is (for this reason I’d suggest putting the first card with the name aside). As a follow-up you might also like to give your students Johnny Depp’s full biography or alternatively assign them to prepare similar information about other famous people. By asking the same questions they would find out this mystery person’s name.
