This is a simple activity for elementary students when teaching basic facts about Australia. The fauna and flora in Australia is unique so I have chosen a few unique animals to introduce them to the students. I would advise the teachers to laminate the sheets and cut them into boxes. There are three boxes connected with one animal. There is the name, the picture and the description of the animal. Divide the class into groups and distribute the envelopes with a set of cards to each group. The task is to match the name, the picture and the description. It is fun.
