This is a youtube video watching exercise about digging for Gooeyducks (clams). Even if the students can't understand all the vocabulary, the video is a great demonstration. Also, you will get varied reactions from the students because Gooeyducks are quite unattractive looking. Gooeyducks are also unique to the Pacific Northwest, so it's likely that this is something that they are unfamiliar with.
