Types of Crime

A vocabulary and speaking activity for intermediate students. In part one, students read a situation and decipher jumbled letters to find the crime that is described in the situation. The first letter is highlighted to help the students. The second part is a discussion in which students try to decide which two out of five candidates to release from prison. This could be done in groups and followed up by class discussion. This exercise appeared in a very old book the title of which escapes me. I think it is worth reviving.
