The pre-intermediate kids whom I teach absolutely hate fantasy movies and comedies, so I decided to engage them into the conversation and learning by offering a movie "Krampus: the Christmas evil". It's not a very scary story, so it can be used as an exciting activity especially if you have a lot of teenage boys in your class. The worksheet contains a bit of an information about Krampus, its legend and history; grammar questions, discussion's questions and a short quiz about the movie. You can use it for revision of present perfect and past tences and also to link the movie with the topic about crime.
