The activity is intended to be used at the stage of practice, that is after students have been introduced to the names of some of the most well-known African animals. The teacher asks students to read the comments made by different African animals and to fill in the gaps with the names of the animals that fit the descriptions. Students can work individually and compare their answers in pairs after they have finished. Alternatively, students can work in pairs to fill in the missing spaces. When they have finished, the teacher provides the class with the feedback.
