This is a listening, grammar and vocabulary activity aimed at a good elementary class to pre-intermediate level. There are two versions in this attachment. The class takes between 1-1.5 hours depending on how you want to use it. The elementary version has a section about the past simple and the pre-intermediate has a section about the present perfect, but you can change these as you like and could even get students to compare the two tenses. The video is great fun and the vocabulary gives them some colloquial phrases too. I hope your class enjoys this as much as mine have!
