This ppt is all about things we see in the playground. Children were first shown the pictures slide by slide and then they were asked to identify the things they know.Then they were asked to describe the picture and point out the describing words that are relevant to the picture.They were then asked to make sentences using these words. They were then asked to describe how they played with this equipment. The children came out with several action words which were associated with these pictures.Thus the ppt can be used to cover both vocabulary and several grammar topics associated with these words. For example, even adverbs can be practiced by asking them to describe their play actions in some detail e.g. Quickly , Faster, Suddenly, Steadily and so on.Children were then taken on a tour to a nearby playground and then asked to identify the things they have learnt.
