This is a very simple cut and paste activity for young learners to highlight the meaning of big, bigger, biggest and small, smaller, smallest (or just big and small depending on their level). Have the students cut out the bears in the second page and paste them in order of biggest - smallest as in the example picture at the bottom of the first page. Students will have fun with this activity grouping the bears into families so it is a good opportunity to review family members (Mother, father, brother, sister, baby). Before giving out the worksheet cut out and laminate one set of bears for teachers to use and demonstrate how to do the activity on the board. Give the students a turn at rearranging them on the board. (velco boards work best for this activity). Before I photocopied these worsheets I drew a dotted line around each bear for the students to follow while cutting.
