A simple ppt with illustrations to famous idioms that have weather words, but their meaning is not necessarily related to weather:) There´s a suitable listening to provide the context and explanations for the idioms on the BBC Learning English website in "The English We Speak" section from July 2013 and it´s called "Weather Idioms". The idioms in the ppt appear by a click after the illustrations so it can be used both for introducing the topic and checking the students' knowledge of the idioms.
