With this activity I believe students will have the opportunity to work in groups and find as many words as they can to describe summer. Once they are done looking for all the words they will face an even more challenging task which will motivate and inspire them to write a poem and use all those words they wrote and found together to create a poem. I believe this activity will promote speaking among pairs, practice spelling (writing) and create a writing piece that isn't a copy from anywhere.
