This is a powerpoint that I made for ESL learners in middle school in France (the powerpoint is entirely in English) with ESL vocabulary words. There are four categories: give the American equivalent (A and B), say the number, and name the nationality. It's sort of a mix of things they learned and some new things they hadn't learned formally in class. I played with the entire class by splitting them into 2 groups. One player chooses the category and the points they want to try for. They were allowed to speak to the group about the answer, but then one representative had to tell me the answer in English. If they got it right they got the points and if not, the other team was allowed to steal the points if they gave the correct answer. If no one could answer correctly, no one got the points. The students tend to get really excited about this competitive game so beforehand I usually tell them that if they are talking when they are not supposed to that they would lose 100 points and that usually works well!
