Word formation is a part of the international exams such as FCE, CAE, CPE. Timely preparation for these exams is an essential part of the examinee success. I start doing exercises on word formation at the elementary level. I have chosen the texts from Oxford Primary Skills 3 by Helen Casey, Oxford Primary Skills 4 by Tomzin Thompson to do exercises and train word formation with younger learners.
