Phubbing or Phone Addiction (Article and Activities)

You will find activities linked to phubbing (phone + snubbing), which is the practise of snubbing someone, using your phone.

It starts with questions to get the students to speak, then a video from the Washington Post (show it several times) with questions to use as an introduction to the topic. Then, you have the article from the Washington Post that goes with the video and questions related to it. I gave translations of a few words for my students (under the illustration), so if your students are not native speakers of French, you will just need to change the translations into their language.

The translation can be done orally, or can be written, and can be given as homework, depending on how much time you have.
I hope you and your students will enjoy it! I use it for a two-hour class.
