Personal Pronouns
This exercise is used to help students memorize the personal pronouns. This will also help those who have difficulty in understanding them.

1. Cut each slip and give one card to each student. They can’t show the card to the other classmates.
2. Before you start, explain the activity and give an example how to do the exercise:
- If you have an “I” card, point to one student and look at this student, so he/she can say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a “YOU(singular)” card, point to yourself and look at all the students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a “HE” card, point to a student who is a man, and look at the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a “SHE” card, point to a student who is a woman, and look at the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have an “IT” card, point to anything which is an object, and look at the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a “WE” card, point to all students, including you, and look at them so they say the correct pronoun.
- (second option) If you have a “WE” card, point to some students, and look at them so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a “YOU(plural)” card, point to one student, including you, and look at the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
- If you have a “THEY” card, point to more than two students and look at the other students so they say the correct pronoun.
