This is a fun discussion worksheet on ultimate survival/traveling. Students imagine they are on a deserted island after a ship crash. They need to do a lot of things (like create a shelter, find drinking water, make a fire etc.) You cut the tasks and give a pile to each group of students (2-3 groups works best). Students have to put these ideas in the order of importance by discussing it in a group. After that groups share their ideas of the 1-st, 2-nd... things to do on a deserted island. The activity is followed by even more fun - after a while there are only coconuts left on the island - so students in groups make a list of ideas how to use a coconut to survive! Grammar: 1st conditional (If we don't find water, we'll die in 3 days. If you cut a coconut open, you will have some milk to drink. etc)
