I use this powerpoint game activity to get students talking and using their limited English vocabulary. I divide the class in two groups or teams. One person comes to the front of the class, facing their team so they cannot see the board. The rest of the team (the describers) chooses a category and the picture that they see is described to the team member up front so that the "guesser" says the item on the screen. I give the students one minute to guess and then assign points.
