Find an English magazine or newspaper and cut out about 40 words ensuring you have a balance of parts of speech and stick them onto a sheet of paper in no particular order something like in the picture. Give out copies of the sheets to students in groups of up to four. Give students appropriate amount of time to create as many sentences as they can. The number of words in a sentence may vary but they should make at least three-word sentences. Sentences may be like this:
